A true gentleman, wonderfully generous and witty too, I’m proud to have known him and I will be ever thankful that he was my father in law. I’ll miss him and remember fondly the time when he stated that he had once played cricket at “the Oval”. Being a cricket fan, I was massively impressed- until he quickly followed this up with “the Bedeth Oval”...
